Prayer gives us access. A life of prayer is worlds apart from a life being disconnected.
Jesus did not disqualify anyone from coming to Him. He came to seek and saved the lost. We come as we are, and He takes care of the rest.
Like God chose to use Esther for the time and place she was in, God chooses to use us in our time and place, even amidst opposition.
2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
This message is a reminder to followers of Christ that we can have confidence to approach God to find mercy and grace in time of need; all because of the perfect life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

2nd message in our series "Fire Starter." In order to truly understand what Christ has accomplished for us we need to remember the severity of our sin.
We are starting a new series called Fire Starter where we will be looking at Jesus's words in Revelation 2:2-5. The church in Ephesus was doing a lot of things right, but Jesus had this one thing against them: they had abandoned the love they had at first. Their fire had gone out. Jesus tells them to remember from where they had fallen, repent, and do the works they did at first.
As we move into this series, we will remember, repent and do.
