If social media has accomplished anything, it’s been to pull the curtain back on all the would-be influencers and click bait addicts who think they know something about God’s grand design when actually many know absolutely nothing but don’t want you to know that. Today with JB we take a look at the major themes of the bible: Creation, Conflict, Covenants, Conquests, Captivities, Incarnation, the Cross, the Church and the Culmination of all things. Some might say, all that matters is that we agree on the gospel. Well, it can also be true that the saving gospel comes to us in the fullness of time, but also that much more can and must be learned about how we got there, from the promise in Genesis 3:15 to “it is finished”. It’s a full and glorious revelation! Let’s never forget the whole counsel, the big picture – and study to show ourselves approved.
