The word adversity is where we get adversary, meaning “the one who causes hardship or difficulties.” Pastor Jeff takes us through the first part of Nehemiah 6 and paints a picture of how the Israelites were rebuilding in a ruined state, a state with hardships. Have you ever had to rebuild in a ruined state? Pastor Jeff reminds us, whatever you build on your own, you will carry alone but what God has called you to build, he will give you the strength to build.

Guest speaker Carson Coates continues in our testimony series talking about how the encounters we have with God don't give us our testimony, rather we have to continually live in a response posture to God and that is what gives us our testimony.
The start of our new series, "This Is My Testimony", we start by hearing a testimony about healing from someone in our congregation. Pastor Jeff then teaches us about how we have power because of Jesus and we hold the keys to operate in the giftings of the Holy Spirit to teach, preach, and heal. Jesus is our healer and we have the ability to help bring healing into our church and world. Do you hold the keys?
In our 'Holy Spirit' series Pastor Jeff has taught us who the Holy Spirit is, how to receive the Spirit, and now closing the series he is teaching us how to walk in the Spirit. We need to give God time while we walk it out with him; time to heal, time to build, time to uproot, time to cleanse, and time to uncover.
Last week we talked about: “Who is the Holy Spirit” and this week, as we continue in our 'Holy Spirit' series, we are talking about the right conditions for receiving the Holy Spirit. We have to be in the right conditions for God to move in our lives and for the his Spirit to be able to work. How are your conditions currently?
In this new sermon series called, "The Holy Spirit", Pastor Jeff starts off sharing with us our Pentecostal beliefs about the Holy Spirit and the power that was poured out in Acts. Pastor Jeff reminds us that God does not want us to live a powerless life. He has more for us! We cannot live a Christian life without the Holy Spirit and God wants to fill our lives with him, but he needs to cleanse us first.
Wrapping up our For The City series, Pastor Jeff preaches about how the love of God shakes us up. It reorients you to God, to his ways, his values, his grace, his love, and his plan. That if we are for our city, we will love people differently and we will be propelled to because of how God's love has changed us from the inside out.
In this sermon Pastor Jeff proposes the question, "Have you ever been sent somewhere you didn't want to go?" He teaches us that we are being carried to the places the Lord has called us to and we must settle down there. That we must build and settle down and where we plant matters.
In this sermon, our YA leader Jon teaches us that we must be a church that goes beyond our walls and community. How we need to be a community that brings the Gospel message into our city, to the hurting, sick, and searching.
In our new sermon series: For The City, Pastor Jeff takes us through the theology of why we care about our city.
The Bible begins in a Garden and ends in a Garden City, but we have to wait for that Garden city. The city of man and the Kingdom of God are separated and we are required to bring God's presence into the world through our work. When we are at work in the city around us, God’s presence is felt and his authority is remembered. By 'Expanding Eden', people come into proximity of God’s presence and flourishing starts to take place.
