Google has introduced Passkeys, a new feature that intelligently logs users into Gmail, YouTube or any Google account with an Android or iOS device. Passkeys allows users to log in with their face ID, fingerprint or device PIN. According to Google, Passkeys offer a more secure and convenient way to log in without manually entering passwords, being susceptible to phishing attacks or having passwords accidentally exposed in a data breach. Since Passkeys are stored on users' devices themselves, they can create multiple Passkeys for different gadgets, protecting against cyber attacks from cybercriminals.
