Following the Google I/O event, Nothing took to Twitter to announce the release of the first Android 14 Developer Preview for the Nothing Phone (1). Unlike regular OTA updates, users must manually install the developer preview on their devices. However, Nothing has cautioned against normal users installing the preview due to several issues that have been mentioned on the company's blog. These issues include the inability to register fingerprints, the unavailability of face unlock and glyph features, as well as the unavailability of battery sharing, among other things.
