We are officially kicking off Season 4 of Not Your Average Bucket List with a nod to one of our favorite editorial tentpoles - Hidden Gems! For the past few years, our local travel experts carefully curated a list of the best hidden gems across America, and this 2024 list is probably the best yet. When we say “hidden gems,” we’re talking about one-of-a-kind destinations, whether it’s an island trail in Maine only accessible when the tide is low to an international Dark Stay Park perfect for star gazing in Minnesota.
In this episode, our hosts will briefly touch on all of the U.S. hidden gem destinations chosen and hopefully start getting you excited to visit. We’ll also touch on the four categories each of these hidden gems fall under - Wondrous Waters, Unforgettable Experiences, Natural Secrets, and Man-Made Gems!
If you want to keep the adventure going, check out the rest of the 24 Hidden Gems list, which will include informative videos and photos, too! There is also a fun, interactive map that you can click around and start getting inspired.
