For the longest time, optical illusion has been known to be a fun game. However, it has more to offer. Psychologists at the University of Glasgow stated in the research that staring at an optical illusion can improve eyesight by simply looking at a small print. 74 people participated in the research and they were shown an illusion of a spiral rotating clockwise for 30 seconds. After this, they were shown the chart again and it was found that those who saw the clockwise rotation which seemed like the image is moving towards oneself experienced better visual acuity for a brief period. Researchers further noted that these positive results and effects are mostly short-lived. Also Read: Artist creates stunning optical illusion portrait of Guru Nanak
