All we have to do is see the disasters that befall people in this world, and we think to ourselves: How do you get through that? How do you come back from that?

That’s the kind of question that devastation brings. It might be:

• Sudden loss of a loved one
• Horrific accident or disaster
• Life-altering circumstances
• Overwhelming injustice
• Loss of marriage
• Terrible sin in self or family
• Loss of job or ministry or support team

When we experience life-altering devastation, Satan invades our hearts with DOUBTS about:

• God and His Love
• His Trustworthiness and Faithfulness
• If He has a good plan for us
• Our calling or who we are in Jesus
• Our worth and individual value to Him
• His promises

Satan whispers: “Did God really say?” to set a wedge between us. But NO MATTER the DEVASTATION, We MUST NOT fall for that trap.

We MUST decide NOW that DOUBTING GOD is NOT an option, and FIND OUR WAY BACK TO HIM, and SURRENDER AGAIN, our TRUST TO HIM.
