In today's episode we will break down the art of living a sustainable creative life with special guests Kristin Bruce and Bria Blunt. Kristin & Bria are the real deal, having graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City, and gone on to navigate multi-faceted careers in the arts, including fashion design, visual arts, fiber and textile design, and communications. They share their perspectives on staying grounded, and what they have learned/"unlearned" since design school in order to keep a consistent career and function in the world of business.
We talk about the balance of contentment and faith in their evolution as creative entrepreneurs- including how to pay bills, build positive mental health, stop tripping on ego, compete in a top talent pool, co-create and support each other, and not burn out along the journey. This conversation is a powerful reminder to let go of chasing our labels and desires that they may blossom and become staples, and the shape of our life can transform to be both sustainable AND creative.
