Saturday, October 15: Our annual Celebrate DiverseCity event presented by Rowlett Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Commission, is from 4-7p at Downtown Rowlett. Get to know more about Rowlett's Diverse Culture with a combination of performances and activities for people of all ages, I am personally excited for the Zumba class led by Fit with Daniel. . The traffic signal at Martin is scheduled to be taken off of flashing mode and placed into full operation on Tuesday 10/11 at 9 AM.
Earlier this week, the City kicked off the installation of the new state-of-the-art Outdoor Warning system. The first two locations are Pecan Grove Park and Springfield Park.
At the Harvest Market on the Main event last Saturday, members of Works in Progress and the Arts & Humanities Commission unveiled the newly “Yarn-Bombed” Adirondack chair on the green downtown! This decoration won’t be there forever; so be sure to visit – this is a great Insta-ready photo op!
