Salazar Slytherin, the last of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. One of the greatest wizards of his time, but also a very secretive wizard as well. During his time, he was known to be a very strict individual and is said to have been involved in the Dark Arts. We learn later, centuries after his death, that Salazar was indeed involved in dark magic as well as created secret tombs and locations around Hogwarts.
