On this weeks episode Alyssa talks about restraint collapse, how her children present with this behavior, and how she helps them regulate after school. We all experience this at some point in our lives and it can be increasingly difficult for children to know how to navigate these big emotions after being away from home all day. When we get to our "safe person" or "safe place" it's common for us to break down, cry, and let out the emotions we've been holding in and children experience the same thing at the beginning of a new school year, new sport, or after spending time in a new environment.
