The Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution was one of the hottest trucks in 2022, experiencing a 74% year over year price increase.  Second to only the Land Rover Defender 110's chart topping 84% year over year price increase.  The difference?  Most are familiar with the Defender and expected its stellar price performance, but are still trying to figure out what a Pajero is and how it became so popular so quickly.  Mitsubishi collector and enthusiast, Dan Perkins, has those answers and more.  Dan started collecting and tinkering with Mitsubishi's because they were cheap, reliable and relatively easy to repair.  Still reliable and easily repaired, but no longer cheap.  Whether you call them Monteros, Pajeros or Shoguns the small tight knit community of  Mitsubishi enthusiasts are fiercely loyal.
