In this episode, Andy interviews Sam MacIntyre - a data scientist with McKinsey and Company in Spain about his approach to personal continuous improvement.

I took two key takeaways from this interview: analyse why you failed/succeeded and practise outside of your comfort zone (sounds cliché, yet it is so rarely done).

The first: instead of going for quantity when practising something, spend more time understanding why you failed/succeeded. This helps you figure out the right approach on how to do things, versus rote learning frameworks, content and more.

The second: if you need to perform under pressure, such as with tight project deadlines, practise at a level higher than what you will need. Doing this will make it feel normal when it comes to performing under pressure.
