Dr. Bryn Alcott has been at Antarctica’s McMurdo Station for a full year. A year of studying and a year of making lifelong connections. It’s time to go home but the plane back to New Zealand hasn’t returned yet. They opt to spend their downtime noodling on the local ham radio.
