HFA individuals may describe their anxiety as a constant companion, always present but not overpowering. The Response to Anxiety:
HFA individuals tend to respond to their anxiety by channeling it into productivity. The Noticeability of Anxiety to Others, which is for individuals with high-functioning anxiety is their ability to mask their anxiety symptoms. They often appear calm, composed, and capable to the outside world. This can make it difficult for others to notice their internal struggles, and consequently, it may be challenging for HFA individuals to seek support or understanding.

By recognizing the differences in the degree of anxiety experienced, responses to anxiety, and the visibility of anxiety to others, we can better navigate the complexities of anxiety and foster a more inclusive and empathetic society.
