Turner is an award-winning researcher and practitioner who is most known for his work spearheading the growth of rational emotive behavior theory (REBT) within sports and performance settings. His broad interests are in the effects of stress and adversity on human well-being and performance. Martin holds a Reader in Psychology post at Manchester Metropolitan University and lives in Stoke on Trent, England.
