One of the greatest privileges of my work is witnessing my clients and past clients step into meaningful leadership and bring forward work that helps people reconnect to who they truly are and what is possible for their lives.
This series, Movement Makers in Action, is a reflection of that.
Today, I’m honored to highlight Ruth Kent, who is focused on expanding the programs she has created while completing her upcoming book and preparing to bring forward new offerings centered on self-accountability, ownership of potential, possibility, and abundance.
Her work supports people in living more authentic and abundant lives, something she calls “Comfortable Confidence.”
Ruth’s path into this work was shaped through a lifetime of deeply observing human behavior and years serving as a trauma and ICU nurse, where she witnessed both the fragility and resilience of the human spirit. Alongside her own personal evolution and inner work, one question continually emerged for her:
What is the one shift that changes everything?
The answer became clear through both her life and the lives of those she has supported: stopping blame.
That realization became the foundation of her work. She believes that blame disconnects us from our power, while releasing it creates space for accountability, clarity, alignment, and freedom.
In my work, we define what I call a One Message for the World—a thought leadership declaration that a woman is here to lead with. Ruth’s is this:
“Abundance is not gain, it is discovered within.”
Her work is designed for individuals who are ready to move beyond old patterns and discover their gifts, potential, and possibilities. She is also creating programs to support teens in learning the power of choice and accountability early in life.
Her work invites people to pause, reconnect to their truth, and move from reaction into conscious choice.
I’m continually inspired by the clients and past clients I have the privilege to work with and witness as they step into their next level of authority and influence.

Ruth is also a recipient of the Fire Dancer Award in 2024.
