From "Software Licences" in Web1 and "Advertising", "Saas" and "In-App Purchases" revenue models in Web2, we have reached to Web3 where we can experiment with different revenue models that can solve some of the issues with previous ones.

As we discuss in this episode, the main enablers for Web3 new revenue models are "Blockchain's Permission-less", "Modular Software Building Model" and "Openness and Decentralized" aspects. With these, experimenting with some revenue models that were impossible in Web1/Web2 for smaller startups and projects now are suddenly possible with the help of this technology.

Noting that revenue models have always been evolving and need the right technology, cultural and legal enablers to become standard; so in that sense, we still have lots of experiments to run for Web3 revenue models. Exciting!
