Michael Oher has shown us a real life example of how the improbable doesn’t have to mean the impossible. And with a story like his, I think we can all understand how easy it is to romanticize sports and wanting to root for the underdog. If Michael Oher can come out on top, it reminds us that we can too. And that spark of hope is all some of us really need to believe that maybe our story isn’t over yet.
