opportunity to learn about substance use, resources available in the area and help reduce the
stigma by stopping into an event being held on Wednesday, October 26 th at King’s College in

will take place from 10 AM to 1 PM in the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center, third floor, with
parking for the event accessible via the N. Franklin St. entrance next to Holy Cross Hall.

from the AllOne Foundation. The project’s goal is to reduce the stigma around opioid use
disorder, specifically through an educational campaign named “About-Face.” Through social
media and events on campus, About-Face helps educate everyone on campus about how
addiction begins; works to change views about addiction and the language used to talk about it;
and communicates about the resources available for those who need help.

number of substance use disorder deaths in our history—205 people in 2021 alone. As we come
