TWENTY-SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME | Sunday Mass Readings - August 28, 2022 (Year C)
"Take my yoke upon you, says the Lord, and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart." - Mt 11:29ab
Jesus is the model of true humility and by His life, He has shown us how things work in the Kingdom of God. His practical advice not to sit uninvited in places of honor or to exalt ourselves before others save us from a lot of embarrassment. Indeed, Jesus has taught us that the Kingdom of God is a polar reversal of our familiar world in that the last, the least and the lost will be exalted.
Listen, pray and meditate on this week's Sunday Mass readings as our way of preparing for today's Eucharistic feast. Brought to you by the Cebu Archdiocesan Commission on Social Communication.
