Shalom! This topic I have been reflecting on and studying for several months now as I have been diving deeper into the Scriptures. Having studied marriage through the Scriptures for years, I hadn’t noticed in depth that polygamous marriages were common and widely accepted throughout the Tanak (Old Testament). This sparked in interest and curiousity within me to study further and find out why polygamous marriages took place. In this episode, I share my thoughts and understanding surrounding polygamy throughout the Scriptures with Yahuah’s people and my opinion and theory on why polygamous marriages were common and widely accepted during those times amongst Yah’s people. The biggest question of all is; was this always Yahuah’s design for marriage from creation or man’s? If man’s, did Yahuah accept this or see it as sinful? Have questions or need counsel or prayer?
