Q: I would love to hear your take on grit in life. “The grit to persevere till you succeed.”

A: My take on grit is found in the experiences of my life. From not feeling smart enough to be an engineer and leaning on a community to make it through, to choosing to not listen to voices that said I wasn’t enough as I pursued dance. Even as a military spouse, grit is a part of our day to day lives as we continue to be flexible in life and business. Grit looks like being resilient and choosing again and again to continue to go after your dreams “till you succeed”.
