Andy Warhol, known as the patriarch of pop art, was an icon whose presence and impact has been valued for decades. Warhol’s awareness and self-expression has deeply resonated with me from a young age; a visit to the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh when I was 10 years old marked the moment I became a creator.
