The story of David and Goliath has become an accepted analogy for taking on a herculean task and coming out on top. But though that might be the outcome of the story, we see that there is greater depth and understanding to be gained that “the giants” that confront us need to be recognised as giants that try to obstruct our God given destiny and need to be overcome “in the power of God”.
