The Handloom Census 2019 reveals that about 60% of handloom weavers earn a meagre income of INR 5000 a month. And where Indian e-commerce is expected to grow to $111 billion by 2024, it still contributes only 0.2% to the total handloom sales.  

India is estimated to have 6.3 crores of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that have the potential to flourish with innovative sales and marketing efforts but are currently not part of the digital revolution.
