In this episode, we broadly explore the concept of Community Schools in the State of California.  More specifically, we discuss the Community School related activities that have long been in place in the Black Oak Mine Unified School District.  Bridget Isham, FAST Counselor, shares the ways that Black Oak Mine supports: integrated support services; family and community engagement; collaborative leadership and practices for educators and administrators; and extended learning time and opportunities.
