While we were up north, a new threat to duck hunting emerged, so when we got home we recorded and released this podcast as soon as we could, because there is urgent action needed to protect duck hunting. Wetlands that were protected in easements from the US Fish and Wildlife Service are now threatened by a potential change to regulations around land tiling. These wetlands are crucial for duck habitat and production, and without them our birds could be in trouble. Scott Stephens from Ducks Unlimited joins the show and gives us all the details on the issue and what we all need to do to help protect ducks and geese. Bret Amundson asks Scott his opinion on Minnesota exploring a 3 duck splash bag limit and other concerns around the waterfowl hunting world.
