Emmett tells of the life of three early Westlakers: Tom, Homer and Jesse Teague. Tom feuded with neighbors in Oak Hill. Homer feuded with Tom.  Jesse was drafted in WWII and on his return, he feuded with a neighbor over abuse of his goat. Each was a character on his own and helped build Westlake.
