Russ opens with his weekly Wall Street update and a read on the markets so far for 2023.  He also does a quick review of Secure Act 2.0 which passed over the holidays.  He touched on some of the provisions such as raising the required minimum distribution age, more catch-up contribution opportunities, and increasing the amount of RMDs that can be given to charities.  Russ also shared a couple of case studies with one involving a couple with concerns over their retirement savings going down and another couple knowing they needed a professional partner in their retirement planning.
