Everette Fortneris a leader in the career management field, spending a bulk of his career at the University of Virginia both on the main and Darden campus. Prior to his career in the Education Sector he spent a great deal of his career in Consumer Packaged Goods, having a lot of fun including increasing Oreo brand presence in Asia and managing the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile program. Though his success is obvious, Everette faced many of the hurdles that we face in our careers: accepting jobs that weren’t the best fit, moving for opportunities while sacrificing family comforts, and ultimately, not being as strategic about career as one learns only later in life.
