Pride, shame, and remaining myself:  A reflection on Joseph.  That is my subtitle to this episode.  In it, I talk about the journey toward realizing that pride and shame are two sides of the same coin, and that letting that coin rule your life doesn't lead to anywhere good. 

There's a danger in being ruled by success.  How do we notice and adjust course when we're doing that; how do we get back to what's important?  And how do we become truly content with remaining ourselves, without striving and pushing to be noticed? 

A reflection on perhaps the most important place of growth in my life:  learning to be content with being behind the scenes.
