Breakbeats is a genre that is dominated by the drums, the kick drums are laid in a non linear sequence unlike most genres of electronic music. We begin by recording a basis kick - snare pattern and get to process the result to launch into this session. We separate the MIDI and mix each element individually so that they can be better mixed at any time. We then program some standard percussion and build a good groove perfect to lay down the bass.
