When Chrystul was 16, she met a 33-year-old man named Randy Volar when he responded to an ad she posted on backpages.com. She told him she was 19. At the age of 17 she shot him in the head twice while he was sitting in a chair. She proceeded to rob him and burn his house down. Some people are saying she is the victim in this situation.
