An old friend used to say something like this: “the Church would be great if it weren’t for all the people…” It’s true - it’s a beautiful community, but it’s full of petty infighting and rifts because… it’s full of humans. The world talks about unity, but the unity they want relies on ignoring or even elevating weaknesses and sin. As Pastor Ben will point out in today’s message, in the Kingdom of God, we must confront our weakness head-on in love and acknowledge our need for Christ to redeem and restore us.
