The opposite of a happy ending is not actually a sad ending. Whereas, the sad ending is sometimes the happy ending. The opposite of a happy ending is actually the unsatisfying ending. 
Life is not so much about having a beginning or end. It's simply about going on and on and on. 
There's no real ending. Its just a place where we stop the story.
