I imagine myself standing on the edge of an unfathomably tall tower that stretches high up, far beyond the clouds to some enormous and unknown altitude. The heels of my feet are backed up against the very edge of the platform, my backside is tickled by the beckoning expanse of the foggy and seemingly infinite abyss below. My eyes are closed in this moment of surrender. Like a tree falling to the forest floor, I start tilting backwards, slowly at first, and then quickening as I begin to free fall into the arms of the unknown.
