Raising a child today is extremely expensive and it’s important to understand what the cost implications are if you’re thinking about expanding your family. Due to the declining marriage and birth rates in the United States I wanted to understand why this is happening. Millennials are delaying marriage and becoming parents later in life and sometimes foregoing it altogether. I wanted to understand this for myself and also try to get a sense of what the future looks like for my generation and beyond.
