It was a great start to BBL08 with the Heat hosting the Strikers, we had controversy over whether James Pattinson was out, Alex Carey hit 67 for the Strikers and the Heat had unlocked a new star in rookie Max Bryant. It was the Strikers though who prevailed by five wickets. Jack Heverin, Benny Jones and Ryan Harris called all the action from the GABBA.
