Part 4 in the series Rising from the Ash "Therapy Begins" Now that I saw my issues for myself. I needed to seek professional help. Similar to seeking medical attention for a severe headache or a broken bone. Though not obvious, to me at least, I had a broken mind. Emotionally torn. The cornerstone of my Christian experience is prayer and bible study. And God has given us even more than that, called the ministry of helps. Our professional community is part of that. We need them. We need doctors, lawyers, police officers and psychiatrists. However, the Christian community has down played mental illness, although many of us suffer silently.  Just as Cancer is Real and serious.
