Mark Ludwig is the founder and Executive Director of Americans For Equal Shared Parenting (AFESP). Mark helps coordinate the legislative efforts in all 50 states regarding shared parenting legislation, enabling children to have equal parenting time with their fathers and mothers, and to prevent parental alienation.

In this episode I interview Mark and he shares the background of his story and how his experience led him to advocate for equal shared parenting. Mark discusses the legislative victory this past week in his home state with passage of a Missouri shared parenting bill that will get signed into law on August 28, 2023.

We discuss key players in the Missouri victory and how to thank them. Mark also discusses which other states have also passed shared parenting bills and their similarities/differences.

You’ll hear from Mark about how you and others can get involved and advocate for shared parenting.
