The NY City Council Cultural Affairs Committee has proposed to remove publicly displayed artwork that progressive activists deem a "celebration of those who perpetuated oppression.” I take issue with this for several reasons: the state shouldn’t be involved in this; wasted resources fighting fake evils; and rewriting history… when has this ever proven to work out well?
