It can be difficult to follow a leader who is erratic in their mood and decision-making, and who is also unforgiving. 

Unlike fragile and broken humanity, Jesus Christ has, is, and will be consistently the same in character and leadership. He leads us with compassion, mercy, and grace, and his abilities and expectations are the same always. No changes or mood swings occur in him as a result of circumstance. His yes is yes, and his no is no, and his decisions are flawless.
