Paul, in 2 Corinthians, encourages us that Christ is working even in our weakness and hardships. Paul had a deep-seated knowledge of the profound truth that Christ had overcome the world. Even in prison, Paul could rejoice over the work God was doing because he understood any difficulty or weakness he encountered through the lens of Christ’s strength and victory.
