Day 145 — “A Broken and Contrite Heart”
📖 Psalm 51
After sin shattered David’s heart, he did not run from God—he ran to Him. Psalm 51 reminds us that repentance is more than feeling guilty; it is a sincere turning back to the Lord with humility and honesty. God is not looking for empty words or outward appearances—He desires a heart that is broken over sin and ready to be changed.
No failure is too great for God’s mercy. When we come before Him with a broken and contrite heart, He brings forgiveness, healing, and restoration. Grace still meets us where we are.
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” — Psalm 51:17
