🎙️ Day 138 — “Worship Before the Lord”

As the ark of God is brought back to Jerusalem, David doesn’t stand at a distance… he worships with all his might. He dances, rejoices, humbles himself, and celebrates the presence of God returning to His people.
But this chapter also reminds us that worship is more than emotion—it must be rooted in reverence. God is holy, and His presence is never to be treated casually. Joy without reverence becomes shallow… but reverence filled with joy becomes true worship.
David understood something many miss: the presence of God is worth more than position, reputation, or the approval of people.
