Day 131 — “Mercy Instead of Revenge”
📖 1 Samuel 24
In a cave with every opportunity to strike… David chose mercy over revenge.
Saul had hunted him, slandered him, and tried to kill him—yet David refused to take matters into his own hands. Why? Because David understood a powerful truth:
When you trust God’s timing, you don’t have to force God’s justice.
Sometimes the greatest act of faith is not fighting back… it’s stepping back and letting God be God.
⚔️ Revenge says, “I’ll make this right.”
🙏 Faith says, “God, I trust You to handle this.”
Don’t let bitterness write your story when mercy can reveal your character.
