Day 116 — “Thus Far the Lord Has Helped Us”
📖 1 Samuel 7
Israel had wandered—but God wasn’t finished with them.
In this powerful moment, Samuel calls the people to stop playing both sides… to put away their idols… and to return fully to the Lord. And when they do—when their hearts finally realign—everything changes.
Repentance wasn’t just words.
It was surrender.
It was action.
It was a turning back to the God who had never left them.
And when the enemy came against them, God Himself stepped in.
Thunder rolled.
The enemy scattered.
Victory was secured—not by Israel’s strength, but by God’s faithfulness.
Then Samuel sets up a stone and names it Ebenezer, saying:
“Thus far the Lord has helped us.”
Don’t miss that.
Your story isn’t just about where you are—
it’s about how far God has already brought you.
Every step… every provision… every moment of grace—
He has been faithful.
So if you feel distant today—return.
If you feel weak—remember.
If you feel overwhelmed—trust.
Because the same God who helped you then…
is the God who will carry you now.
