π₯ Day 51 β Meeting the Holy God
π Exodus 19
Israel has been redeemed.
The sea has parted.
Manna has fallen.
Now they arrive at Mount Sinai.
And everything changes.
Thunder.
Lightning.
Smoke.
A trembling mountain.
God reveals His holiness.
Exodus 19 reminds us that salvation is not the end of the journey β it is the beginning of relationship. The God who delivers is also the God who is holy.
βYou shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.β (Exodus 19:6)
Redemption leads to reverence.
Grace leads to obedience.
Deliverance leads to devotion.
God did not rescue Israel so they could wander aimlessly. He redeemed them so they could belong to Him.
And the same is true for us.
We are saved by grace β but we are called to walk in holiness.
